Short answer
Per the FDA label, a Wegovy single-dose pen or syringe can be kept at 46 to 86 °F (8 to 30 °C) for up to 28 days before use if needed. A Wegovy FlexTouch pen already in use can be kept for 56 days at 59 to 86 °F or in the fridge. Never freeze it.
Single-dose pens and syringes
The Wegovy label says to store the prefilled single-dose pen or syringe in the refrigerator at 36 to 46 °F (2 to 8 °C). If needed, before the cap is removed, it can be kept between 46 and 86 °F (8 to 30 °C) for up to 28 days. Keep it in the original carton until you use it, protect it from light, and discard the pen or syringe after use.
FlexTouch pens already in use
Before first use, the label says to keep the Wegovy FlexTouch pen in the refrigerator. After first use it can be stored for 56 days at 59 to 86 °F (15 to 30 °C) or in the refrigerator. Keep the cap on when not in use, protect it from excessive heat and light, and store it without a needle attached. Use a new needle for each injection.
What never to do, and the tablets
The label says not to freeze Wegovy, not to use it if it has been frozen, and not to store it directly next to the refrigerator's cooling element. Wegovy tablets are different: they are stored at room temperature, 68 to 77 °F, in the original bottle. This page summarizes the label and is not personal advice. If a pen has been somewhere hot, such as a car, ask your pharmacist before using it.

Can I travel with Wegovy?
The label's 28-day and 56-day limits are the rules to plan around. Keep the pen in its carton, away from heat, light and freezing, and ask your pharmacist about longer trips.
