Short answer
Per the FDA label, take the missed Zepbound dose as soon as possible within 4 days (96 hours) of when it was due. If more than 4 days have passed, skip it and take the next dose on your regular day. You can change your weekly day if doses are at least 3 days (72 hours) apart.
The label's missed dose rule
Section 2.3 of the Zepbound prescribing information says that if a dose is missed, patients should administer Zepbound as soon as possible within 4 days (96 hours) after the missed dose. If more than 4 days have passed, the missed dose is skipped and the next dose is given on the regularly scheduled day. In each case, regular once weekly dosing then resumes. Zepbound is dosed once weekly, at any time of day, with or without food.
Changing your injection day
The label allows the day of weekly administration to change if needed, as long as the time between two doses is at least 3 days (72 hours). That means you can move a dose earlier or later, but you should not stack two doses closer together than that.

Wegovy has its own rule: if the next dose is more than 2 days away, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is less than 2 days away, skip it. After 2 or more consecutive missed doses, the label says to reinitiate dose escalation at a lower dose.
